Bankstown Sports Club Director Jim Ronis Awarded OAM
Bankstown Sports Club‘s long-serving Director Jim Ronis has been recognised for his service to the community in the 2025 King’s Birthday Honours List.
Jim was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for his contributions to Sydney’s Greek-Australian community, and the wider community at large.
A veteran of the real estate industry, Jim continues to serve as a consultant with Ronis Real Estate, based in Bankstown.
He co-founded the Hellenic Lions Club, supported migrant resettlement through the Saint Lavra Association and has served on the Board of Soccer NSW.
Jim has been a member of Bankstown Sports Club since 1965 and has served as a Director since 2005.
He is a proud life member of several sporting organisations and is a passionate advocate for both the Greek and sporting communities, as well as the broader Bankstown region.
Bankstown Sports Club says it is incredibly proud of Jim and his achievements.
