Club Taree Spreads Christmas Cheer Across the Manning
Christmas has arrived early at Club Taree, with the Club once again stepping up to support the local community through a series of meaningful festive initiatives.
This year marks more than 36 years of Club Taree’s Christmas Toy Draw, an initiative that continues to make a major difference for families, supported by the Manning Uniting Church Taree Community Kitchen.
This Christmas season, the Club has purchased 114 toys, worth approximately $4500, filling an entire trailer before delivery.
The donation complements the Club’s significant year-round support of the Community Kitchen. The Kitchen currently serves between 130–140 locals a day, and Club Taree regularly assists through equipment support, subsidised food purchases and delivery costs.
In addition to the toy donation, Club Taree’s much-loved decorated Christmas tree has been installed at Manning Base Hospital.
The tree is created each year in partnership with a local community organisation, bringing colour and Christmas spirit to different parts of the region.
Across all of these initiatives, Club Taree staff continue to play an important supporting role, helping ensure that the Club’s community programs reach as many local families as possible during the holiday period.
