The 2025 ClubsNSW Conference & AGM is underway, with a special race day kicking off the three-day program for the first time.
The inaugural ClubsNSW & Clubs Queensland Race Day was held at the Gold Coast Turf Club on Wednesday, providing an opportunity to network and connect with industry peers.
“What a fantastic way to kick off the 2025 ClubsNSW Conference on the Gold Coast,” ClubsNSW CEO Rebecca Riant told those gathered.
“We are really chuffed to see so many of you have turned out for what is going to be an incredible day of racing and networking opportunities.”
Hundreds of delegates from across NSW have descended on the Gold Coast for the ClubsNSW Conference — in what is the biggest event on the club industry’s calendar.
The race day provided a casual setting for those in attendance to socialise and network before the main component of the Conference program takes place at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre from this morning.
As well as hoping to tip a win or two, racegoers were treated to freshly shucked oysters and a range of beverages from valued partners.
The Race Day also provided the perfect backdrop for the Women’s Networking Event, recognising and celebrating the increasing number of females that work in the club industry.
“I think you can all be very proud of the fact that you work in an industry that is made up of many impressive females,” said ClubsNSW Chair Sallianne Faulkner.
“It’s thanks to all of you that the club industry is making real inroads into the diversification of skillsets and expertise — so thank you for all you do.”
Day two of the 2025 ClubsNSW Conference & AGM gets underway this morning at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre.
ClubsNSW Chair Sallianne Faulkner and CEO Rebecca Riant will address delegates, with a range of keynote speakers and panel sessions to feature, along with the ClubsNSW AGM in the afternoon.
Everyone will have an opportunity to let their hair down this evening, with the popular Keno Conference Party to begin from 5pm — with a ‘Back to the Future’ theme.
