Doylo Lifestyle Group has announced the appointment of Brett Elliss as its new Chief Executive Officer, with current CEO Darren Thornton to retire later this year.
Mr Elliss will transition into the role from 24 June while Mr Thornton is on leave and will officially commence as CEO on 27 October.
Mr Elliss has been an integral part of the Doylo Lifestyle Group’s executive team, serving as Chief Commercial Officer since 2019.
Prior to that, he held the role of Chief Operating Officer, contributing significantly to the Group’s operational excellence and commercial growth.
“Brett has extensive experience in the club industry and beyond,” says Doylo Lifestyle Group Chairman Tony Twomey.
“Brett is a proven business leader, who is passionate about leadership, culture and customer experience. As a member of the executive team, Brett has an intricate understanding of the Group's businesses and has been leading the growth and success of Doylo Lifestyle Group.
“We know Brett will progress and deliver our vision with purpose.”
Retiring CEO Darren Thornton also expressed his support for the Board’s decision to appoint Mr Elliss.

Mr Elliss’s appointment reflects the Board’s commitment to strong leadership continuity and future focused growth, building on the solid foundations established under Mr Thornton’s tenure.
