Doylo’s Brianna Harvey Wins NSW Volunteer of the Year
The Doylo Lifestyle Group's Marketing Coordinator, Brianna Harvey’s dedication to ending domestic, family, and sexual violence has earned her the NSW Volunteer of the Year Award, shining a spotlight on her tireless efforts to create meaningful change.
For over a decade, she has been a passionate advocate for community causes, dedicating countless hours to volunteer work. In her current role as volunteer Chief Marketing Officer for What Were You Wearing? Australia, Brianna leads campaigns to raise awareness and fight sexual violence nationwide.
Her commitment doesn’t stop there—she recently launched TALKBACK, an intersectional magazine with 100 per cent of profits supporting domestic, family, and sexual violence charities. This initiative reflects Brianna’s belief that real change happens when people care enough to show up.
One of her proudest achievements was helping organise national rallies in May, where over 100,000 Australians marched against gendered violence. Her leadership in Gosford even prompted a government pledge of $20 million for a women’s and children’s trauma recovery centre.
Balancing a full-time role at The Doylo Lifestyle Group with over 30 volunteer hours weekly hasn’t been easy, but Brianna’s passion drives her forward.
“Volunteering can be as tough as it is rewarding,” she says.
“But knowing our work helps people leave unsafe situations makes it all worthwhile.”
Looking ahead, Brianna plans to grow TALKBACK and educate clubs on supporting local communities in preventing violence. Her advice to aspiring volunteers?
“Real change doesn’t just happen—it’s made by people who care enough to show up,” Brianna says.
