Former Australian of the Year and wheelchair tennis champion Dylan Alcott AO has been secured as the closing keynote for this year’s ClubsNSW Annual Conference.
Dylan is a four-time Paralympic Gold Medallist and a 23-time Grand Slam and Golden Slam-winning wheelchair tennis player.
Beyond his sporting achievements, he is a passionate advocate for social change, a media personality and a best-selling author.
In 2022, Dylan made history by becoming the first person with a visible disability to be made Australian of the Year in the award’s 62-year history.
Through initiatives such as the Dylan Alcott Foundation, he empowers young Australians living with disabilities to achieve their dreams by helping to break down barriers to enter in sport and education.
Dylan will share his compelling story of resilience and advocacy with attendees of the 2024 ClubsNSW Annual Conference.
The event will once again be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, from Wednesday 9 October to Friday 11 October.
