Norths Collective Spruiks Innovation Journey Through Podcasting
Australians have overtaken Americans as the leaders of podcast consumption among English-speaking countries.
According to a 2023 report by Infinite Dial Australia which tracked digital audio listening trends, 43 per cent of the Australian population aged 12 and over listened to a podcast in the past month.
We are also listening to podcasts more frequently, with the proportion of weekly podcast listeners growing from 26 per cent to 33 per cent year-on-year.
According to research by Roy Morgan, Generation Z (born from 1991-2005) has overtaken the slightly older Millennials (born from 1976-1990) as the largest downloaders of podcasts.
Overall, those two generations comprise around 70 per cent of all those who download podcasts.
With such a strong appetite for podcast consumption, it’s no surprise to see new podcasts emerging on seemingly infinite trajectory.
One of those competing for the ears of those with an increasingly insatiable appetite is Norths Collective, who have recently launched a new podcast series ‘Byte-Sized: Digital Transformation Unlocked’.
The podcast aims to discuss the latest trends, tools and strategies that are reshaping the business world in an engaging and concise 20-minute format.
The episodes are hosted by Norths Collective Platform & Analytics Lead Liam Webb and Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer Robert Lopez.

Designed for busy professionals, the podcast breaks down complex topics into easily digestible episodes, ensuring listeners stay ahead of the curve without sacrificing their valuable time.
“We dive into our wins, learnings and everything in between,” says Liam.
“We wanted to create a podcast that was digestible and conversational in nature so anybody could listen in and take away some key learnings or ideas to take back to their organisation.”
Robert and Liam have both led Norths Collective’s digital transformation journey since 2019, and with a wealth of experience in innovation and marketing their combined expertise ensures each episode is packed with valuable information, real-world examples and practical tips.
