Welcome Back to the Gold Coast!
The Keno Welcome Party is a highly anticipated prelude to the main event, offering delegates a fantastic opportunity to network and unwind before delving into the serious business of the ClubsNSW Conference and Annual General Meeting.
Taking place prior to the commencement of the Conference, the Keno Welcome Party sets the tone for the days ahead. It provides a relaxed atmosphere for delegates to break the ice, engage in meaningful conversations, and establish connections with fellow professionals from various corners of the industry.
One of the primary advantages of the Keno Welcome Party is its ability to facilitate networking in a more informal setting. Delegates can mingle, exchange ideas and build relationships without the constraints of the formal conference environment. These early interactions often lead to valuable collaborations and partnerships that enrich the Conference experience.
Not only is the Conference returning to the Gold Coast after seven years, but it is also ClubsNSW CEO Rebecca Riant’s very first ClubsNSW Conference. In her Welcome Party speech, Rebecca said she is looking forward to getting to know delegates better, and thanked Keno and the event’s beverage partners Lion, Carlton & United Breweries, Treasury Wine Estates, Diageo, CUB Premium Beverages and Coca-Cola for “keeping us all hydrated and happy”.
More than ever, the Keno Welcome Party offers a unique dimension to networking — the opportunity to sample corporate partner beverages. This allows delegates to explore new flavours, discuss innovative trends and gain insights into the corporate partners' offerings while enjoying a pleasant evening.
In his Welcome Address, Paul Malek, General Manager of Licensed Venue Operations (Keno), The Lottery Corporation reiterated Keno’s desire to work with the ClubsNSW team and Rebecca. He said he looked forward to the inspiration and education the Conference had to offer. The ability to take learnings from the Conference and implement them at the local club level is not to be shied away from.
“It’s good to pause and reflect on what we’ve achieved and accomplished over the last 12 months, and what we plan to achieve in the next 12 months,” Paul said.
Beyond the professional benefits, the Keno Welcome Party also serves as a moment of relaxation and camaraderie. It helps delegates recharge, alleviate any pre-conference jitters, and foster a sense of unity among participants. This sense of unity can greatly enhance the overall conference experience.
Please enjoy the preliminary photos from the Keno Welcome Party. More will be uploaded to the ClubsNSW Conference website in the coming days.
