Wests Ashfield Spreads Christmas Cheer at Annual Kids’ Christmas Party
Wests Ashfield was bursting with Christmas spirit on Saturday 29 November as the Club welcomed families to its annual Members’ Kids’ Christmas Party — a beloved tradition that celebrates members, strengthens local connections and spreads joy heading into the festive season.
Held across two packed sessions in the Club Lounge, children enjoyed a vibrant line-up of hands-on Christmas activities including arts and crafts, face painting, music and dancing, jumping castles and a bustling petting zoo. One of the biggest highlights of the day was the opportunity for families to take photos with Santa in the beautifully decorated foyer.
Adding an extra layer of excitement, Wests Tigers NRL and NRLW players, along with Wests APIA Leichhardt players, joined the celebration, spending time with young fans, posing for photos and helping create unforgettable holiday memories. For many families, the chance to meet their sporting heroes made the day even more special.
Every child went home with a wrapped Christmas gift, ensuring no one missed out on the magic of the season. Families also enjoyed a complimentary lunch at Villaggio, Wests Ashfield’s popular Italian and Mediterranean restaurant, which kept kids fuelled between activities.
CEO Daniel Paton says the event continues to reflect Wests Ashfield’s dedication to supporting local families.
