ClubsNSW Annual Conference & AGM is Almost Here
The ClubsNSW Conference & AGM is just around the corner, and it is an event you will not want to miss!
Set to take place from 9 October 2024 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC), this annual gathering promises to be an exciting opportunity for club representatives, industry professionals and corporate partners to come together, share insights and shape the future of the club industry in NSW.
Day one begins by heading over to the Gold Coast Turf Club for the TAB Next Gen Showcase. Be inspired by what's possible in your club, with state-of-the-art features including multi-view screens, TAB terminals, iPads, digital signage, TAB lounges, tickers and banners.
Next on the agenda is the Women’s Networking Event. This is your chance to network with fellow delegates and industry leaders before the conference even begins! Indulge in delicious drinks and canapés while engaging in meaningful conversations that could transform your professional journey.
We will also be holding the Keno Welcome Party at the GCCEC. The night aims to highlight the best of Australia, with great Aussie music, food and beverages. This is a fantastic opportunity to mingle with industry peers and catch up on the year that’s been.
Day two will feature two keynote speakers: Amanda Stevens on The New Rules of the Customer Experience and Ander Sorman-Nilsson on Winning Digital Minds & Analogue Hearts in the Age of AI. We will also hear from panellists at the Gaming Reform and the Political Landscape Forum.
The ClubsNSW AGM will be held in the afternoon, followed by the Conference Dinner; with this year’s theme ‘Around the World’. Join us on a journey through cultures with Chinese lion dancing, be transported to Paris with a Moulin Rouge Show, and take a step back in time and listen to the greatest hits from the British rock band Queen with the Killer Queen Experience. To finish the show, the Aussie rock band Boom Crash Opera will be taking the stage, who will keep you dancing well into the night.
Day three begins with a keynote address by Marty Moore with No Bullsh!t Leadership. We will then move into our four breakout sessions:
- Live Entertainment: Bringing Vibrancy Back into Your Club
- Drivers of Change: Understanding Markets, Trends & Key Contributors Influencing the Hospitality Industry
- Cyber Resilience: Safeguard Your Club Against a Digital Attack
- Navigating Regulatory Risk.
These will be repeat sessions so delegates will have the opportunity to attend two breakout sessions.
We will then hear from Mounties Executive Manager of Community Arely Carrion and NRL Ambassador Alan Tongue who will Address the topic of Domestic and Family Violence.
To close the Conference, we will hear from former Australian of the Year and wheelchair tennis champion Dylan Alcott AO.
